7 Things You Missed At New York Fashion Week

7 Things You Missed At New York Fashion Week

Fashion Month is a hectic four-week trip around the world, first at New York, then London, then Milan, and finally stopping all the way in Paris. There are so many shows going on that even with all of the extensive coverage, it can be difficult to consume it all. Luckily for you, here are seven bite-sized pieces about what you missed at New York Fashion Week!

1. Rihanna On a Dirt Bike

Riding high from her Fenty Beauty launch, Queen Ri herself finished off the edgy Spring 2018 ready to wear show by riding down the runway in a neon green ensemble on the back of a dirt bike. Your fave could never.

2. Kate Spade Is Classy As Usual

One of everyone’s favorite bag lines, Kate Spade, also had the cutest designs for Spring 2018. There were lots of florals and gingham and one very cute crocodile wicker handbag on display. Is it April yet?

3. Marc Jacobs Missed His Mark Again

At last year’s New York Fashion Week, designer Marc Jacobs came under fire for displaying non-POC models in colored locs, an act for which he apologized only after posting an initial response on Instagram doubling down on the issue. This year, he sent white models down the runway in headwraps which are commonly worn by POC and thus, are discriminated against for doing so. Sorry Marc, it’s gonna be a no from us.

4. Alexander Wang’s Surprise Show

Alexander Wang’s famous #WangFest show almost always garners the hype it deserves and this year was no different. While the actual show intended for editors and the fashion elite was scheduled for 10 pm that evening in Bushwick, at 9 p.m. Wang bussed in the models to Nolita and did a show. Wang then proceeded to the official show. Many critics of the official show claimed that it wasn’t as good as recent years, while others believe they’re just a little bitter that they weren’t first to watch.

5. Ralph Lauren + Luxury Cars = A Really Good Time

Ralph Lauren decided to hold his runway show in his actual garage. Models walked amongst a $40 million Bugatti, a candy apple red Ferrari (after which several of the looks were modeled), and one sexy silver Porsche. I’m sure the clothes and cars combined could pay our tuition many times over.

6. Fidget Spinners At Tory Burch

We all thought we could escape that toy our middle school siblings all know and love, the fidget spinner. However, Tory Burch added one as a pendant to a necklace and the internet collectively lost its mind. Art imitates life, no?

7. Leslie Jones at Christian Siriano

One of the things about NYFW is that it could be considered a fairly buttoned-up affair. Everyone wants to look good and not end up on a worst-dressed list. Then, Leslie Jones came and saved the day! She sat front row at the Christian Siriano show and yelled, laughed, and showed her deep appreciation for the clothes, which made everyone else around loosen up too. Siriano is known for designing dresses for Jones’ Ghostbusters movie premiers after no other major designers would.

The Problem With the Taylor Swift Reputation Merch

The Problem with the Taylor Swift Reputation Merch

By now, unless you’ve been living under a rock, everyone and their mom has heard that Taylor Swift is back. Following her successful assault trial, T-Swizzle has returned with a new album, titled Reputation, single and music video. While I could spend some time talking about the time appropriateness of the launch, cultural themes in her music video, and just the overall tone of the campaign, I’ll save that for Twitter. This is a personal style and beauty blog, so we’re talking MERCH. A few months ago I talked about how concert merchandise has a special place in my heart and also in the hearts of many others I’m sure. However, I have a couple problems with not only the design of Taylor’s merch but the marketing principles behind it.

Please note that obviously, I’m not a Taylor Swift stan. I’m a big fan of Speak Now and Red, and I really haven’t heard a single that wasn’t a bop until this most recent one, so her music is not what I take issue with. Rather, it’s the persona she has adopted over the years since she removed herself from the country scene and inserted herself into pop.

So What’s With the Snakes?

At first glance, her merch seems innocent enough. Got a CD, some shirts with the album cover on it. Then come snake rings, a hoodie with snake detailing, plus a couple items with a very particular font many of us are familiar with. Starting with the snake, let’s just say that trying to “reclaim” the snake part of the narrative she wanted no part of is shady at best and intentionally obtuse at worst. I mean, just last year she was responsible for Instagram allowing users to ban certain phrases (in this case, snake emojis) from their pages. I get that people change their minds about things, but this is an obvious marketing tactic, one that doesn’t sit well with me.

The Problem With the Taylor Swift Reputation Merch

Then the Kanye font. No, he hasn’t actually trademarked that font, but the similarities are uncanny, and of course, many people have pointed it out. People have also pointed out that the album is set on Donda West’s anniversary of death but I don’t think Taylor Swift would go out of her way to do something like that, and it’s the furthest reach I’ve seen all of 2017.

The Problem With the Taylor Swift Reputation Merch

Taylor Swift Tix: Shady or Helpful?

So you think her merch is shady. What’s the big deal? Well yeah, everything mentioned above is pretty much an opinion, and because I’ve never met the girl, I could be entirely wrong. However, the big glaring problem with Taylor’s merch strategy for this album is the connection to concert tickets. Ticket bots have been a huge problem in recent years for real fans trying to get good seats to shows which has lead to many artists partnering with ticket providers to have Verified Fan Sales. Swift’s team has gone one step further with Taylor Swift Tix. It allows fans to complete “unique activities” to increase their chances of getting tickets including buying music and merchandise.

Yes, there are some free activities like watching music videos and joining the email list but those are “low boosts” and therefore not super helpful when the Waitlist to Priority Line refreshes every 24 hours. I think this crosses the line from “helping the fans” to taking advantage of them. I believe the hardcore fans will be willing the participate in this, but my main concerns are the casual fans and the young, impressionable ones with parents who can’t necessarily afford to buy merch AND tickets, especially since buying the merch does not guarantee a ticket. Ethically, I’m not here for this, and this is why I don’t carry much sympathy for Taylor Swit and some of the things she gets crap for because she is complicit in much of it.

Do you guys care about any of this? What are your thoughts on TSwift, postitive or negative? Do you agree with her marketing tactics? Sound off in the comments and I’ll see you next week!

Anjolee Jewelry Diamond Ring Collab

Anjolee Jewelry Diamond Ring Collab

I received the product in this post for free from the company in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Okay, everyone. You have approximately 30 seconds to get out all diamond related name puns that your heart desires. I have put up with them the last 18 years and I can bear 30 more seconds….Y’all done? Great! Now that that’s done, let me introduce you to a really cool jewelry brand, Anjolee Jewelry. I’m not the biggest jewelry fan, but I do like rings and pretty much anything with my birthstone, sapphire, in it. So when Anjolee offered me the opportunity to test drive one of their replica rings, I jumped at the chance.

Anjolee Jewelry Diamond Ring Collab

Anjolee Jewelry is most notable for their diamond ring selection and engagement rings! However, they also have cutely shaped fashion rings as well. They’re in the pricier range than is common for most college students, but it’s certainly something to consider as a graduation gift to yourself! The replica ring they sent me is made of silver and cubic zirconium which sparkles just as much as a true blue diamond ring, but it’s not so expensive, so if I lose it (which I’ve been prone to do) I won’t be terribly sad. Obviously, I’m a long way off from engagement, so I sized up to a 7.5 ring size and just wear it on my middle finger.

The three stone design I picked out is perfect for me! It’s not too dainty, but it’s not full blown costume jewelry either, so it fits perfectly in my anti-capsule wardrobe. The sapphire stones are absolutely stunning and complement my skin tone very well too! I’m also a fan of the tiny diamonds around each stone as opposed to one huge rock in the center! I was impressed with the quality of just a replica ring, so I can only assume that the genuine product is quality as well. I will certainly be wearing it on many days in the near future because you know what they say: Diamonds are a girl’s best friend!

6 Pieces to Include in Your Anti Capsule Wardrobe

Every day, I do a mini scroll through Pinterest. What’s become frustrating is the lack of new, interesting style looks! Every blogger seems to be using the same silhouettes and color palettes! I’ve always liked a good helping of color to my outfits, so all of the posts about having a “capsule wardrobe” are practical, but unoriginal in this day and age. That’s why I’m showing you 6 great pieces you should own in your Anti Capsule Wardrobe. Basically, an ACW is full of clothing pieces that can also be used with multiple outfits, but have a little more life to them, ya feel? Today, I’ve gathered 6 pieces that should definitely be part of your ACW!

6 Pieces For An Anti Capsule Wardobe

A Tulle Skirt

Contrary to popular belief, tulle skirts don’t have to make you look childish like a fairy princess. It doesn’t have to be super fluffy and short like a Halloween costume, nor does it have to be an outrageous color (although I like mine that way). Some great tulle skirts exist out there! I enjoy skirts with an elastic waistband, an a-line shape, and a midi length. It reads fun yet sophisticated. I own one from Rue21 in a gorgeous wine red, but black, navy blue, mint, and peach are all popular colors as well!

“Special” Denim

Everyone knows the benefits of a good pair of blue jeans. However, there’s a way to step up your denim game without sinking to the lows of clear pants. I define “special” denim as denim with embroidery, sequins, painted, etc. Anything that takes a regular pair of jeans to the next level without changing the basics. I don’t recommend colored denim for this only because it tends to deviate from its original color over time. Also, go crazy with the cut! Skinny jeans are cute, but have we forgotten the beauty of flares and bootcuts???

Animal Print

People have forgotten that animal print can be chic and not cheesy. Think about it like Fran Drescher from the TV comedy, the Nanny. She loved animal print, but always made sure to wear it with clean silhouettes and basic colors! I’m partial to leopard print, but you pick your fave! Plus, this isn’t limited to your clothing! Animal print accessories pack the punch without being overbearing!

6 Pieces to Include in Your Anti Capsule Wardrobe
From my fave IG account, What Fran Wore!

Lots of Hats

The world of hats is so versatile, but no one seems to wear anything besides Dad hats these days. Now, I’m not knocking them (I have a couple) but I love the theatrics of a good hat, and there’s one for everything! Beanies are my personal favorite, but I have a new affinity for sun hats this year, so that’s always fun!

I think I personally don’t give scarves enough credit! It’s probably because I wear a lot of graphic tees, and scarves tend to block the messaging, but now that I own a couple pieces that are solid colors, I think scarves would make a great addition to my wardrobe. They come in a lot of colors, patterns, and fabrics, so you could wear one with literally anything. I’m not a fan of infinity scarves, but rather traditional ones so I can tie them however I feel on that day!

Statement Jewelry

Last, but certainly not least, we need STATEMENT jewelry in our Anti Capsule Wardrobe. I’m talking the exact opposite of tiny studs, infinity rings, and just overall “dainty” jewelry. I want geometric shapes, big jewels, holographic nonsense! I have a pair of hoops in the shape of stars, some hot pink chandelier type earrings also shaped like stars, and a choker with a holographic planet charm. The more unique the better!

I hope you guys enjoy my favorite pieces for an Anti Capsule Wardrobe! What funky pieces would you include in your ACW? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll see ya next week!

BOY/GIRL Clothing Lookbook

BOY/GIRL Clothing Lookbook

Here at The Chic Machine, I love collaborating with other young, black talent (like this awesome collab with Munachi from A Glamorous Revelation!) in my posts. This week, I’m bringing you an interview and mini lookbook from the founder of BOY/GIRL Clothing, Ross Turner! At 18 years old, he’s started his own fashion line and it’s taking my town by storm, plus a couple other states in the region. Keep reading for the inside scoop on the brand’s origins, Ross’s creative process, and a really sweet discount!

BOY/GIRL Clothing Lookbook

So how did you come up with the visual concept of BOY/GIRL Clothing?

I launched the brand on Super Bowl Sunday, but the idea came on a car ride home from Louisianna. It was late and I was listening to one of my favorite groups’, the Internet, song “Girl”, and I started thinking “What would go with Girl?” and of course Boy came naturally. I didn’t want anything too complex so I just added it to the front. I was really inspired by one of my gender fluid friends, and a lot of my other friends who dress in a very unisex style. That’s the reason I swapped the colors because I don’t believe clothing should be gendered. I’ve done a few brands before, but this time I really wanted to do something for myself that resonated with me.

How would you describe your own personal style?

Definitely preppy! Lots of polo shirts tucked in with short shorts. Shoe-wise I like TOMS, Vans, and Sperrys, and low-rise shoes in general.

Socks or no socks?

Ankle socks! I’m also a big fan of oversized silhouettes, big tee sh, rts and sweaters, stuff like that.

BOY/GIRL Clothing Lookbook

What are some obstacles you’ve faced as a young, black entrepreneur in an industry that’s predominantly female and Caucasian?

Basically, acceptance by my own folks. If people don’t get the message, they’ll close their minds and shun it. When I first dropped the line, I didn’t get any sales the whole first week. I told myself if I didn’t get any sales by the end of the month, I was closing it up, but then 2 weeks later, I sold out, so staying the course is good. Another obstacle with selling is my audience. I was selling within the schools in the county, but when school ended I lost a lot of my market, so I had to start working outside of school. I have a great team though, my team is beautiful and we get a lot of stuff done and we’re all fruitful. I couldn’t do it all myself, I’d have a nervous breakdown.

Do you have any advice for other young entrepreneurs?

Push. I know it’s hard, and I still fight with this. Forget what the others say and what others think and just push. Don’t procrastinate. Get up and do what you gotta do. Sacrifice, I sacrificed school for the brand but I was able to do both in the end. Once, I was supposed to be in 4th period, but I skipped class to sell merch. I came back with $100. Still finished with a 3.0.

I hope you all enjoyed Ross’s story as much as I did. You can buy your own BOY/GIRL merch at boygirl.bigcartel.com AND you can get 20% off your order with the code DYMOND! Let me know in the comments which item is your favorite! Have a great week!

4 Summer Style Pieces to Spice Up Your Wardrobe

4 Summer Pieces to Spice Up Your Wardrobe

I can’t believe June is already halfway over! Summer is here, and it is hot, very muggy, and rainy down here in Georgia! While the weather may be unbearable, some of the summer outfit posts I’ve had flooding my feed are not! Today, I’ve collaborated with Munachi from A Glamourous Revelation to demonstrate how to wear 4 very cute and versatile clothing items to spice up your summer wardrobe! First, check out her post on what pieces to wear, and then look below on how to style them!

A Striped Shirt

So total disclaimer here, I don’t actually own a striped shirt. And as a person who adores French girl style, that’s almost like a cardinal sin to me. But I don’t! What I do have are a ton of graphic tees, which serve nearly the same purpose! But for the purposes of this blog, I’ve actually already got a post on how to style striped shirts, and you can check out the lookbook I made for that below!

How to Style Striped Shirts

A Nice Sweatshirt

School sweatshirts are totally comfortable, but they aren’t the chicest thing to wear out and about. And with this weather changing from sunny to rainy in a heartbeat, or moving from the sweltering outdoors to the chill AC, it’s good to have something loose but cute to throw on.

A Pair of Denim Shorts

Sun’s out guns out I always say! And for me, my guns include my long, chocolate legs! 😉 I have two pairs of simple denim shorts from H&M, one in a dark rinse and one in a light. Both were only $10, so it’s very affordable! Of course, you can also get pieces with lace, paint splatters, and embroidery, or you could DIY them all yourself!

A Super Dope Hat

There’s a hat for everybody. I’m telling you no matter what your style, you CAN find a hat to go with it, and they’re great for days where you just don’t wanna do your hair!

Grad and Bougie: A Graduation Style Lookbook

Hey, guys! It has been one hectic weekend! I finally, FINALLY graduated high school. It felt like it would never happen and even now it feel like a dream. I had so much fun styling my look for the graduation ceremony because you KNOW my family took a ton of photos. It’s a night to remember even if it was such a whirlwind I barely remember any of it!

Graduation Night

This look was all about class! We were supposed to dress semi-formal for the ceremony, but it was also like 86 degrees so I needed to be cool as well. I styled this whole look with pieces from Forever 21. The skirt was from their contemporary collection and was only $35! Sadly, I can’t seem to find it on their website anymore. It was very well made and lightweight which was great for the heat. Plus, the floral embroidery went perfectly with my Spring/Summer theme I picked out earlier this year.

In order to keep the focus on the skirt, I paired it was a plain black tee shirt style bodysuit and black strappy sandals. I also wore the totally chic diamond choker that I wore with my Cinderella prom look. They aren’t painted in this photo, but I also did my nails with the new Essie Gel Couture line in the shade Rock the Runway which is a gorgeous fire engine red. My toes were done in Julep’s shade Brigitte which is a creamy, pure white.

Grad and Bougie: A Graduation Style Lookbook

All in all, I had a really fun time celebrating my graduation with my friends and family. This blog has helped me hone my writing skills, earn scholarships, and meet a lot of new people, and I’m so glad that it and all of my readers have traveled with me through this journey as well.

Are any of you graduating (from high school or otherwise)? What’s your major and where do you attend? Leave me a comment and I’ll see y’all next week!

Much love,

Hot Topic: 5 Reasons It’s Not Your 90s Grunge Store Anymore

I’m a 90s baby. No, I don’t actually remember being alive at that point in time, but nonetheless, I am a 90s baby. Sartorially speaking, I’m a 90s girl at heart as well. I’ve done a lot of research into that era of clothing, and I know that for punk lovers everywhere, Hot Topic was the mall’s answer to Juicy Couture’s matching tracksuits and embroidered jeans and dainty accessories of dELiA’s. As a kid, I was kind of scared to go in there because it was darker than every other store and you could hear the loud rock music from outside. BUT I’m here to tell you, HT isn’t just your 90s grunge fashion store anymore. It’s that too, but there’s actually a lot of other fun things you can get there, without shelling out a ton of cash.

This post is NOT sponsored, I just really love Hot Topic!

Great Formal Wear

First and foremost, they have an AMAZING selection of formal wear! I got my Cinderella prom dress from a Hot Topic collection! They also have fancy gowns based off of DC superheroes and villains, other Disney princesses, and more, without looking garish or like cosplay!

The Cutest Swimsuits

Speaking of inspired collections, Hot Topic’s swimwear is to DIE for. I’ve got a Little Mermaid swimsuit, but they also have swimwear based on Star Wars, animes, or just cute floral or musical note prints! The possibilities are endless and right now, all swim, tanks, and shorts are BOGO $10, so most swim sets you can get for about $35!

They reposted me last week on their Instagram!

Tons of Accessories

This Panic! at the Disco beanie came from HT for $10!

Don’t even get me started on the accessories here. It’s a cosplayer’s DREAM. Along with various hairbows, jewelry, bags, and more based on almost every TV show, movie, or band in popular culture today, they also have tights, wallets, sunglasses and just EVERYTHING ELSE! A lot of it actually isn’t even character themed, so you have many options to choose from.

Size Inclusive

So now you’re thinking, those dresses and swimsuits are super cute, but they won’t fit me right? Wrong! Hot Topic has one of the best plus sized selections I’ve ever seen! It’s on par with Modcloth’s in my opinion.Almost all of Hot Topic’s dresses, pants and tops size up to a 3x, and then their plus sized range extends all the way up to a size 28! The swim lines go up to a XXL, and the plus size range extends even further (although they’ve created their own sizing guide from 0-5). They don’t sacrifice the quality of the clothing or just make a “skinny person’s silhouette” with more fabric, according to the many reviews left and as a scroll through the #HTFandom tag on IG will reveal.

Lots of Coupons

Thank god for HT band merch!

So if you’re not sold yet, I don’t know why not, but the BEST and LAST reason Hot Topic is one of the bets stores to shop is: COUPONS! They offer SO. MANY. COUPONS. Every month there’s generally a $15 off of $50 coupon for online and instore. Every few months they’ll have higher value ones ($30 off $75, $75 off $150, etc.) or lower ($10 off $30). But the holy grail is Hot Cash! Now, you can’t combine Hot Cash with other coupons, but you don’t really need to! Spend $30 during an earning period, and earn $15 in Hot Cash (redeemed as $15 off of $30). For every $30 you spend, you get HC to use during the spending period, usually two weeks after the earning period ends. I used my Hot Cash last month to buy a retro Lilo and Stitch crop top that was $30 for only $15! That’s a steal to me!

SO, if you want band merch, accessories, swim, a dress for a fancy dinner, or god knows what else, Hot Topic probably has it. It’s affordable, inclusive, and just a fun place to hang out. Talk about a real blast from the past!

Another Cinderella Story: Prom Style & Makeup

This post contains some affiliate links, but all opinions and purchases were my own. For more info, check out the disclaimer page!

It’s finally here: My Senior Prom. It’s certainly a bittersweet experience, to say the least. When I grew up, I watched a lot of Disney Channel Original Movies (HSM anyone?). Prom is always made out to be the “princess night” for every girl. The “outcast” girls get to feel just as beautiful as the popular ones, usually with one epic transformation scene in between.

Many of you know I’ve had my eye on this Cinderella dress from the Hot Topic collection from 2 years ago. Cindy is my fave Disney princess so it was my dream dress from the start. The top is corset style (I forgot to take pictures of the back!) but it actually zips down the side. It’s the classic Cinderella blue, and even has little pumpkin carriages stitched into it!It’s sold out now, but I managed to track it down in my size back in October! If it restocks (they seem to every few months) it was super affordable at only $65. That’s nothing compared to the hundreds of dollars other girls spend on a dress and I loved twirling around in it!

I really wanted some “glass slipper” type shoes to go with my dress and when I saw this pair I almost died! They were super sequined, and since my dress is short, they would be on display for all to see! They were really tall though, and I didn’t make it very long in them once I got dancing!

I accessorized with more diamond and pearl accessories! The earrings and clutch were thrifted, but I got the nifty choker from Forever21 for $10!

The showstopper of my makeup look is the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow palette in Vega plus the NYX Face and Body Glitter in Crystal as an eyeliner. The blue popped with my brown eyes, and I sparkled under the lights all night long! I also used Glossier’s Haloscope highlighter in Moonstone, Boy Brow in Black, and Stretch Concealer in Deep.I lightly dusted on the Bare Minerals matte powder foundation and set with the NYX Matte Setting Spray. I tried to keep my face makeup light because I like to dance and I didn’t want to sweat it all off! Plus, I kept my lip simple, using L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Extraordinaire lip stain in Blushing Harmony.

All in all, I had a really great time styling this look, and I had fun seeing all of my friends in their getups too! I believe I was the only girl wearing a short dress, which makes me feel unique, something I always want to come across in my personal style. Don’t forget you can get 20% off all the Glossier goodies using my link!  I’ll be hanging onto this dress for now and hopefully lots of good memories.

Stay Flawless!

April 2017 Beauty/Style News

Hey, everybody! After that no buy (which was more like a low buy but oh well), I’m excited for all of the beauty news coming up in April! I’ve picked up some notable sales, collection drops, and more all happening in the month of April!

Fashion News

Forever 21 Sale

  • I’m pleased to announce I’m now part of the Forever 21 affiliate program. I figure it’s not a bad match considering I’ve started buying more things from them (even if fast fashion isn’t the best for the environment). So, I’ll be finding out about some of their sales a few days before they begin and I can give you the scoop! Forever 21 will be having a BOGO Free on Sale Merch from March 30 until April 2nd! Now’s a great time to buy some offseason essentials like coats, hats, and gloves, or you can stock up on cute sunglasses and tee shirts for the summer!

    H&M x Coachella

  • Also, I’m super excited about this year’s H&M x Coachella collection. I’m not a fan of Coachella. I think it’s a really exclusive thing for rich people to run around appropriating too many things at one time. And last year’s collection was very reminiscent of that. Lots of boho and flowing desert motifs with lots of emphasis on Native American culture. I bought my Cat Eye sunglasses from this particular collection and that was it because I couldn’t find anything else that suited me. This year’s collection is a huge step up from last year’s, and it seems like the H&M designers really took a cue to customer responses. There’s a lot of lace, hearts, and stars mixed in with tougher fabrics like denim, and it’s pretty dang cool.

Beauty News

  • Colourpop Cosmetics is having an EPIC Free Shipping sale until 3/31 at midnight! That’s free shipping on everything, no minimum! What’s that you hear? The sound of my wallet crashing and burning 🙂

MAC @ Ulta

  • Of course, you all know I’m super duper happy that there will be MAC at Ulta This May! This brings me one step closer to never shopping at another place for beauty ever again, but darn Glossier and Milk Makeup have got me under their spell…You can begin browsing the collection online April 23, and they will be available to purchase May 7! I’ll keep an eye out for any Platinum early access!

  • There’s a new PatMcGratch Kit on the horizon and it’s called DARKSTAR 006 and is due out April 11! It’s way out of my student budget (at least at the moment) but I have no doubt it’ll sell out quickly. But shoot, I’m just trying to get my hands on the original Metalmorphisis kit.

Ulta 21 Days of Beauty

  • The Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale is already in full swing, but some of the best deals will be coming during the last week of the sale from April 1-8th! I’m actually waiting until the very last day of the sale (April 8th) to score the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil for only $10.50! On April 1st you can score the entire Mario Badescu brand for 25% off! So there’s a lot to look forward to!

Too Faced Glitter??

  • Too Faced’s founder Jerrod Blandino announced on March 25th, that a Too Faced Glitter Palette is in the works, but won’t be dropping until about June. You all know I already am married to my Urban Decay Moondust palette, so I’m not dying to get my hands on this, and with Too Faced’s discrepancies between palettes, I kinda can’t wait to see if this will actually be any good.

So that’s the scoop for this month! I’ll add to this (or maybe make another post) if more good stuff comes up. Got any questions? Leave me a comment or you can reach me at any of my socials @thechicmachine!
