Product Review: Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer and Boy Brow

Hello everybody! I hope you all had wonderful Thanksgivings and Black Fridays and Cyber Mondays! Sorry for the gap between posts because I got a job at Kohl’s! It’s been fantastic being around the clothes and beauty all day, and I earn a check so I can buy all my favorite beauty products! I certainly took full advantage of Glossier’s sale, which was 25% off everything in the store! Add that with my $30 in store credit and my total was down to 75 cents! *Mental high five to myself*

Glossier won its way into my heart over the summer when I was able to try their Coconut Balm Dotcom which was absolutely heavenly! When they released their newest product, a brow grooming pomade called Boy Brow, I knew I had to get in on the fun. So I ordered all of my items while watching the Macy’s parade and they showed up on my doorstep exactly one week later and I was super excited to play with my new stuff!

Let’s start off with Boy Brow! I haven’t really bought any brow products since the hype got started about THICK,BOLD,BROWS! -_- I haven’t really needed it. However, when I haven’t gotten my brows waxed in a while, they have a tendency to get so long they curl over themselves. Now I wondered if I should invest in a clear gel to slick them down instead of a tinted one, but when Glossier announced theirs, it was no contest. When they announced the product, they said that they were inspired by the thick yet kempt brows of the guys, which is so true! I have total brow envy of a lot of my guy friends.

I think the product itself was nice. It darkened my brows only a tiny bit, but did hold them down in place like I wanted. That said, this bottle is tiiiiinyyyy. The container is like a mascara tube only it’s the size of my pinkie, no joke! I wish there was more, considering that if I paid full price it would be $16, but I guess that’s what you get when you purchase from premier brands.

The product that I really loved though was one of the Glossier basics: the Priming Moisturizer. I’ve nearly perfected my skin regimen over the last year and a half, and this moisturizer was the cherry on top. Just like the Coconut Balm Dotcom, a little bit goes a long way, which will help it last a lot longer. It’s practically scentless, which was a little disappointing for me because I love scented stuff, but is great for those with sensitive skin. It’s a thin moisturizer so it doesn’t feel thick or heavy on my face and it’s perfect to put makeup on top of, if you want to of course.

Both products have been added to my daily routine and I couldn’t be happier! Along with a new poster and a new sticker sheet with a winter color scheme, this is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a while (at least until I write up my post about my new Levi jeans!!!).

I hope you guys enjoyed this review! My final say is that you should definitely go and buy it as soon as possible! You can get 20% off your first Glossier purchase with my referral link here. It’s a win win! (I’m saving up for the mask duo next!)

Have a great day!

  1. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual
appearance. I must say that you’ve done a very good job with this.
In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Safari.

    Excellent Blog!

    1. Thank you so much! It took some work and time to make the changes over the last 2 or so years, but I didd my best to make sure everything is mobile friendly! Thank you for the feedback! It’s always appreciated.
